Backpack Batteries - lots Bedding & Pillows Bike (EL Wire or other lighting for Bike very important so others can see you on the playa)* Books Boom box & Ipod Bungies - lots (Useful for many many things, including adding extra stability to your tent to help it weather storms) Camera Camp chairs Condoms Costumes Flashlights and/or headlight Glow sticks Goggles* Hat & hair ties Ice chests Kerchiefs to cover nose/mouth for dust storms* Lantern and/or Fans (great/cheap battery-powered @ Academy) Lighters Lotion & Aloe Plastic bin to keep must-stay-dry items in Pocket knife Rope Seam Sealer for tent (do this at home) Shade structure Solar shower Sun screen Tent & stakes (Something flashy or bright or glowing to demarcate your tent's boundaries to help you find your tent and to prevent people from tripping over your stakes, poles, ropes, etc.) Toilet paper Toiletries Towels - lots (you can never have too many towels. Especially if your tent springs leaks) Trash bags Water Wet Wipes and/or washcloths Ziplock baggies - lots (pack your clothes in ziplocks and press air out - this will save space, help you be organized, and keep the dust out of your clothes)
